A secluded lakefront hideaway, Land's End is sited on two private acres with 278 feet of lakefront. It can accommodate up to 28 guests in 13 bedrooms contained in four cottages. It can be rented in its entirety or as separate facilities to non-related groups or families. There are two dock complexes for swimming and boat tie-up and sandy-bottom swimming areas good for children.
The four cottages of Land's End include the four-bedroom 1876 House and the two-bedroom Guest Lodge, which are usually rented together except in June and September when they can be rented separately, and the five-bedroom Horse Barn and the two-bedroom Boat House, which are usually rented together. All four cottages have well-equipped kitchens and wonderful porches or decks overlooking lake and mountains.
This is an exceptional environment for family recreation and renewal in a magnificent setting of natural beauty. There is peace and quiet with private spots where guests can pause, take stock and renew themselves. Sally and Bill Faber own Land's End. Bill founded Resorts Management, Inc., in 1973 and was its President until his retirement in 1998. The Fabers' prior experience includes 16 years with conservationist Laurance S. Rockefeller's Rockresorts, Inc., the last four of which Bill served as Executive Vice President. Preservation of the natural beauty of the Land's End environment coupled with the ability of others to enjoy this environment recreationally are goals of their ownership.
