The cottage is situated 8 kms from the town of Estremoz in the heart of the Alentejo. It is located in the quiet Roman village of Santa Vitoria do Ameixial which is in the heart of wine producing countryside. The cottage has 2 bedrooms (one with two single beds; one with divan beds); sitting room with dining area and TV; kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, cooker & oven, toaster, coffee machine; one bathroom with a shower, hand basin, WC, bidet.
At the front of the cottage is a terrace with outside table and chairs.

Located close to many well known vineyards -J. Portugal Ramos; Seis Reis. The vineyards are open for visits and wine tasting sessions of Alentejo wines. In September, they are open for tours during the grape harvest.

Estremoz, the closest town has many historic attractions to visit; restaurants and cafés which serve delicious local food and wines; weekly local fairs; attractive municipal swimming pools (a shallow children`s pool and an adult pool), attractively located with view a beautiful view of Estremoz castle -perfect for a hot afternoon.
