Falfosa Farmhouse Rental Photos and Description

3 bedroom comfortable Farmhouse with private pool, huge garden & BBQ

Watch the sunrise, hear the birds tweet and watch the wildlife like owls and rabbits wander through your own garden.

The views to the coast are immense and breathtaking; 180º sea and country views. It’s quiet and peaceful with a large garden surrounding the modern, farmhouse style property. Quinta das Pedras has 3 comfortable bedrooms which are all set off the corridor leading down from the dining area.

The kitchen has been kept in style too; a fully equipped country style decor but with all the mod-cons! Direct access from there to the garden and pool, so the kids can run in for a snack without having to traipse through the whole house first. In fact, there’s access to the lawned area and heated pool from any of the living spaces in the house through large French doors opening up to the terraces, lawns, the pond and your own orchard with loads of fruit trees!

Quinta das Pedras has easy access from the main road and the cobbled drive leads straight up to the front door.

Quinta das Pedras is located just outside the sleepy village of Sobradinho, a few minutes from the bustling market town of Loulé and the coastal resorts of Vale do Lobo, Quinta do Lago and Vilamoura.

There are many traditional Portuguese restaurants nearby, but if you’re not that adventurous you will also find international cuisine in Loule. Dine out or eat in…you’ll find a few large hypermarkets just down the road open 7 days a week and of course there’s the market town of Loulé where you can find fresh produce at the covered market on a daily basis.

Golf and excursions can be booked through us too and if you’re hiring a car you’re near all the major exit roads so go sightseeing through this beautiful area! We can even help with your car hire and suggest day trips from the wonderful Quinta das Pedras.

Guestbook comments from the manager

We stayed at Quinta Das Pedras for a week in August 2013 with our two boys aged 9 and 12. We were immediately bowled over by the quality of the villa and its presentation. It is in a beautiful, secluded hillside location with fantastic views, yet only a few minutes from town and supermarkets etc. Outdoors the garden and pool areas are really fantastic. The pool is larger than many in a villa of its size, with gentle steps to get in, and lovely spacious area around to sit out, with barbecue area at one end. The outdoor dining area is really spacious and comfortable. Inside, the villa is also clean, large and beautifully presented, the rooms cool and light. The bedrooms are lovely, each with their own spacious bathroom and loads of space for clothes and other bits. It was nice to have a huge selection of books and games to use, and the TV, DVD etc. were also great. We really appreciated the generous welcome pack we received, which included lovely little luxuries as well as useful essential items. There was nothing we could think of to improve and we will definitely without hesitation choose this villa again if we return to the same area. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The Algarve:

Sun, fun, history and culture...

The Algarve offers guaranteed sunshine, stunning countryside and coastline, excellent food and wine, UNESCO world heritage sites, lively historic villages, and as much activity as you want.

This area is particularly popular with golfers who enjoy an all year-round play in a fabulous climate. Further more, they have 30 high-class golf courses to choose from.

Other activities in the area include an array of water sports such as surfing and sailing or take a boat trip along the picturesque coast. Alternatively, head inland to hike in beautiful pine forests. The Serra de Monchique hill trails will reward you with stunning views as you make your way to the Algarve's highest point. Bring your own or hire bikes locally, whilst birdwatchers will enjoy an array of species. There's even horse trekking in the area for the equestrians.

For those who are after culture, The Algarve has a number of sites reflecting its history which includes Roman and Arab invasions. Medieval churches abound in the historical villages which often have colorful markets. The Tavira area is relatively untouched and remains typically Portuguese. Further more, along the coast there's picturesque islands and beaches waiting to be discovered.

All this plus a lush countryside full of peaceful olive groves, long-standing vineyards and farms which have been worked for generations.
