We just returned from our 1 week stay at Tortola Adventure and had a very pleasant experience. The house is ideally located, hillside right above Apple Bay, and is a classic beach house: casual and comfortable, not luxurious, with cute beach themed decor. The house is in good shape with a nice open layout on the main floor that opens up to that amazing deck and view. We arrived to fresh linens, clean bathrooms, a clean kitchen and living area. Great long dining table to spread out. We didn't cook, but the kitchen is equipped with the basics (utensils/dishes, pots/pans, range, microwave, etc) and there is a grill on the deck. Be sure to get a 4WD. The driveway is steep but manageable and you are well rewarded with amazing one of a kind views. The views, the overall good condition of the house, and the location make this is a great value compared to similarly priced options elsewhere on the island. You can't beat waking up to the view and drive to Smuggler's Cove within 3 minutes from your own private villa. Due to the hillside location, winds can get loud and music from the beach bars carries, so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper like me. Management is excellent, accessible and helpful with local suggestions. Perks like the provided cell phone, a landline for local calls, in-house washer/dryer, consistent wifi, and tons of beach towels were nice touches. Would suggest this rental for easy going couples, friends, and families with older children.
