This air conditioned 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom, fully equipped chalet is well located to explore Nova Scotia, particularly the South Shore from Metro Halifax to Yarmouth and through the Annapolis Valley. Located on a very private 3 acre lakefront lot in a nature preserve, one can enjoy biking, hiking and touring as well as swimming, boating and fishing in one of Nova Scotia's larger, cleaner and quieter lakes (9 mile long Sherbrooke Lake in Lunenburg County).

No picture could ever give justice to this magical house and its extaordinary location. Early morning you can see the mist evaporate from the waters edge to reveal the lake and it islands while the water caresses the shore and the songs of of birds fill the air......And this is just the beginning.. You may chose to swim at your choice of beach or boat or float or fish or even simply commune with the loons... Just thinking about this home away from home makes me want to be there now....

Magnificent property

This property is absolutely stunning, the pictures do not serve it justice. If you wish to find a peaceful, relaxing setting this is it. The property is very private and has many amenities.
The owner was available for anything we needed and checked in by phone when we arrived. One could easily spend a relaxing vacation here without wandering out.
Mahone Bay is close by and is a quaint little town with shopping, a grocery store, gourmet shops and restaurants to meet most needs.
Lunenburg and Halifax are worth the trip along the shore, it is a beautiful ride. You will pass through Chester and Peggy's cove which shouldn't be missed.
