A custom built home in Doral Woods - 15 mins to Disney in quiet residential area of Kissimmee, Orlando Florida. The home is on a 1/2 acre lot, with privacy around the heated pool and a 2,200 sq foot floor plan! The Property has a spa out by the extended pool ( 15 x 32) which is fully screened has patio furniture, fans and loungers plus a gas BBQ for you to relax and eat by the pool. The home has 2 king master suites, both with french doors out to the pool and Tv's, main master has Jacuzzi tub. The other two bedrooms have 2 x twins beds in each room, each with TV. The home has two living rooms - each with a queen sofa bed - so sleeps 12. The family room, upgraded kitchen and breakfast bar plus dining area all have view of the pool. The 2 car garage has remote garage door. 5 TVs, Video, DVD player, PlayStation 2. The property is tiled throughout except for the 2 master suites. Maintained by professional management company. Doral Woods is close to the 4 Disney Parks - 10 minute drive, with easy access roads. Seaworld and Universal are just 15 mins drive. All other Kissimmee, Orlando attractions are near by. Grocery shopping is 5 mins away, plus golf, tennis, fishing, Water parks, horse riding the nature conservancy, Kissimmee lake front provides a fun day out. The beaches - Cocoa and Kennedy Space center are 1 hour drive. The west Coast - Clearwater and St. Petersburg are 1 1/2 hour drive. Kissimmee has plenty of shopping, Outlet Malls, dinner shows, and an abundance of restaurants to suite all budgets.

This home was the most relaxing and comfortable environment to stay in. It had all the comforts of home and really felt homey after our two week stay. The pool was a definite asset and the waterfall made it a very comforting time to lounge in the sun or have family dinners on the patio. Everyone had their own space and it was great when you have older children. The security system was great especially when you have children and you are in a different environment. This is a great home and I would recommend it for anyone!!! The owners were very accommodating and were available to assist with anything you needed. We ate at The Olive Garden, Pacino's, Perkins, Applebees, and we went to The Pirates Adventure Dinner. They were all very good. All the Disney Parks are close as well as other attractions. The only thing I would suggest is to install cable for evenings when it rains or you just want an evening at home.

Owner's Response: Good to hear you enjoyed the home. I just wanted to add that the house has bright house cable on all the TV's. It is the basic package, standard in vacation homes. Unfortunatly to add more the cost is $55 per month, so we try to keep a control over the costs - Perhaps I should suggest that renters bring their favourite dvd's and the home has a 5 change cd player with speakers in all rooms and out by the patio.

Great stay

Stayed in this house on April 18 to 25, 2009.

The house is exactly as shown in the pictures. All communications with Michelle were very easy. Pool is great (but must keep the solar blanket on even if paying for pool heat).

The house is about 25-30 minutes to the Disney parks and 15 minutes to the 192 where all the restaurants are.

The house was very private (hardly saw any neighbors).

We had a great stay and would recommend this house and behlor realty to anyone.

Great vacation

We spent a week at this home in December 2008. The home was spacious and clean. The pool was wonderful, especially after returning from a day at the parks. Michelle was a pleasure to work with - we have rented from Michelle before and will do so again.

Disney Vacation

We were very pleased with the home. It was nice and spacious for our large group of 10. The only thing we noticed was that the DVD player did not work. It didn't matter to us though because the weather was perfect during our stay and the kids weren't interested in watching movies anyway. When we returned from Disney World each day, they just wanted to spend the evenings swimming in the pool. The deck area around the pool was nice also with enough seating to accommodate all of us. We were very pleased with the home and the customer service and definitely plan on renting again for our next trip to Disney.

Great Place

Grew up in Orlando Near Washington, DC

This is a super place to stay. It is in a quiet neighborhood that is not too far from Disney. (my estimate is about 10 to 15 minutes). While the house is not brand new, it was clean and very nice. The dual master bedrooms are private and each have their own private entrance to the pool. The dual smaller bedrooms are great for kids. One of the best parts is that it backs up to a lot of foliage, and coupled with the way the house is situated, (the pool extends back a little beyond the other houses in the development) it therefore seems very private.

Bottom line, with a short drive, you can relax from the busy vacation life and lounge by an essentially private screened in pool. Turn on the waterfall and you hear almost nothing, and it's just a nice time.

Since it's near Kissimmee, there are also lot of lake-related things you can do. If you like fishing, you can get a boat on Lake Toho (23k acres, so I'm told, plus has locks and canals that connect it to other lakes) and go out yourself, or hire a pro bass fisherman to take you around (that's what we did - Chuck's Guide Service, highly recommended) - then we hired a pontoon boat from Chuck and motored around the lake, the kids loved it.

So yes, it's a little drive, but the drive is not bad and it gets you far, far, away from the rats maze up near the parks. So you can choose to be busy or choose to relax - and that's the nice part about this house.

Highly recommended - Oh, and one of the best parts is the painless rental process. I dealt with Michelle at Behlor Realty in Kissimmee. She went out of her way to help us, and it was easy. Thanks, Michelle.
