17th Century Chateau nect top the Loire river with private pool

Take a step back into French history as you enter the 17th century Chateau Le Brun, originally a hunting lodge owned by Chancellor Seguier, Minister of Finances under Louis XIII and Louis XIV.

This private family property has a 52 acre park which offers their guests 3 spacious bedrooms with private bathrooms. Located in a typical Sologne Village, next to the Loire Valley/River, this famous area is surrounded by chateaux such as Chambord and Cheverny.

Guests at the chateau have their own private, in-ground swimming pool. There is outdoor dining space for 18, together with a barbecue and sun loungers by the pool, providing everything required for the ambiance of the outdoors.

Ground Floor

Situated on the ground floor is the living room, complete with seating for 15 people. The very fact that the chateau does not have a formal dining room reinforces its laid back philosophy. The equipped Brick kitchen, seats up to 10 people. There is also a WC on this floor. There is a TV room situated at the back complete with TV cable and video.

First Floor

The first floor accessed by the original staircase hosts 4 bedrooms, two of which are en suite, plus a further shared bathroom with shower, sink and WC. The master suite on this floor, with its own TV overlooks the grounds and has a double bed and a bath in the suite. There is an adjoining twin room, making this part of the chateau perfect for a family. There is a further double bedroom suite bathroom overlooking the swimming pool. A twin room completes the sleeping accommodation on this floor.

Brinon Sur Sauldre is located between Chambord (67km) and Sancerre (60km).

The famous Loire castles, Cheverny, Chenonceau, Chambord, Amboise, Langeais or the Clo Luce, house of Leonardo Da Vinci are located at around 1/2 to 1 hour drive from Brinon.

The vineyards of Menetou-Salon, Pouilly are located around Sancerre at 35 minutes from the house.

The Loire Valley is also very famous for its delicious wines. It is worth visiting the caves and tasting their production. During the summer there is an incredible and unique show in Saint Fargeau (80km) involving hundreds of villagers.

International airport: Roissy, Orly, Beauvais ??? between 200 and 260 km. Local airport: Aubigny sur nere, Lamotte-Beuvron 20km.

Railway station: Lamotte-Beuvron 20km.
