The golf course at Hacienda Del Alamo is simply one of the best in Spain and is now a European Tour venue hosting PGA European Tour Qualifying School stage 2 in November 09 and 10.

Other courses within less than 45 minutes drive are the new Polaris courses Mar Menor, La Torre, El Valle Riquelme and Condado also close are La Manga 3 courses, Desert Springs, Roda Golf, Corvera and many others.

The facilities at the resort are being developed almost daily and it now boasts a floodlit football pitch, tennis courts bowls greens and of course the 7400 yard Dave Thomas designed championship golf course plus a 6 hole training course and some of the best golf practice and academy facilities to be found anywhere.

The local town of Fuente Alamo is a 5 minute drive and has plenty of bars clubs and restaurants

The Murcia region is served by 2 major airports Alicante approximately 1hr 10minutes away and San Javier Murcia Airport which is about 35 minutes away. There are a large selection of carriers including Ryanair, Easyjet, Brirsh Airways, Monarch, Jet2 and more. The new Murcia airport currently under construction is only 15 minutes form the resort.
