Charming, Secluded Guest House with Teton Views

Becky and Jayne welcomed us prior to our arrival and provided helpful reviews of area activities and restaurants, plus clarified unanswered questions or concerns during our stay.  Upon Friday's arrival,  the local critters waved us down Pizza Lane into a quiet, clean, comfy nest called Burt Barn.  Accommodations are smartly designed with the latest modern appliances, comfortable beds and tasteful furnishings. This  is home for a few days.  Returning for our fourth stay we identify subtle, but delightful differences in the living quarters.  With each visit the upgrades continue.  Saturday's spotlight is clearly on the Tetons from the breakfast table, so we elect to take the natural course and plan only one day at a time.   Local fare and outdoor fun is an easy walk or drive from Burt Barn. Rob and I are now in our 50's, have 2 sons ages 17 and 23, so families with teens and older can expect an exceptional home base experience here.   Oh, and DON'T close your eyes...get outside and fill up with all the deliciousness the JH area has to offer.

The perfect combination of a luxury retreat and a welcoming home! Burt's Barn is well appointed and immaculate with every amenity you could think of having. Well located and very private with a beautiful spacious deck, gracious hosts and just a lovely all around experience. Thank you, thank you Becky and Jayne. I can't wait to come back.

We recently stayed and Jayne and Becky's barn during a trip to Jackson Hole for a wedding. Having been to JH before I knew that I wasn't looking for a small condo in the busy downtown, I wanted to get away. We found the Burt Barn here on VRBO and it looked perfect! The pictures on the listing are extremely accurate and give you a very good sense of the property. Becky was very helpful when booking the barn for our trip and Jayne was a most excellent host. As other reviewers have said, she knew exactly when to come around, not too much not too little, her timing was perfect and she had excellent local knowledge. We stayed for a week and had breakfast out on the deck every morning, it was just what my fiance and I had in mind, a perfect getaway. The barn is a beautiful place to stay. The inside is beautifully decorated with no attention to detail left out. We had all the amenities we needed and it was nice to have a real-life sized kitchen to make meals in! On our last night there we ate at Calico Pizza on the deck outside(food was excellent!) and had two moose join us about 25 yards away and it is a memory I will never forget, simply amazing! The location of the Barn, in my opinoin is perfect, the barn is almost exactly between Teton Village and Downtown Jackson. You can catch the bus in front of Calico Pizza which is right in front of their property. They also have a paved bike path right near their property that you can jump on and ride until your heart's content. We would recommend the Burt Barn to anyone looking to get away, but still looking to have access to all Jackson hole has to offer!! We WILL be back!
