Once the guest house of the owners, this renovated Andalusian farmhouse with covered terraces and fruit trees is located in the hills of Mijas enjoying spectacular coastal and mountain views but with total privacy and tranquility. The garden is on two levels with the private swimming-pool on the lower terrace. Within easy driving distance to monumental cities (Granada 2 hours, Seville 2 1/2 hours, Marbella 1/2 hour), beaches and numerous championship golf courses (15 minutes) and Malaga airport (20 minutes). Use of private tennis court within main property by arrangement. You can walk to the charming white-washed mountain village of Mijas to enjoy a meal, do some shopping or just watch the world go by

We would go back in a heartbeat. Spent most of our afternoons sitting on the patio and soaking in the view. So relaxing and such great hosts.

We stayed the second week of May 2005 and enjoyed every minute of our stay at Los Abuelos. Especially memorable were breakfast on the terrace and dinners overlooking the amazing views of Fuengirola and the Mediterranean. We are looking forward to another trip!

Our second visit to this beautiful oasis of peace and tranquility. The setting, facilities & weather make this the perfect place to relax and just 'chill out'. Juan & Amanda are excellent hosts and your stay will be memorable.

Los Abuelos was a fabulous experience for the four of us. The house was perfectly situated on the countryside with lovely views. Standing on the porch overlooking Fuengerola each morning was a wonderful way to begin the day and in evening offered great sunsets. The home is located in a perfect setting with a pleasant, although challenging, walk into the Village. It is also located within easy distance to many dynamic locations we visited. Amanda and Juan were very pleasant and made us feel quite welcome. We were thankful for the direction Amanda offered to the International Festival in Fuengerola as it was enjoyed by all. We were very comfortable and the location surpassed our expectations. I highly recommend this as a return vaction spot and we only wished we could stay another week. Since our return home, I have received several requests for the rental information by family and friends who loved our stories and photos. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property.

We have stayed a Los Abuelos twice. Once with our entire family and once just my husband and I. I cannot praise it enough. The views are truly stunning. The location is very quiet without being too far from beaches, golf courses and othe places of interest. Amanda and Juan are delightful. We will certainly be returning to this wonderful farmhouse.
