5/6 bedrooms, Resturant style Kitchen, 3 FULL & 1 HALF baths, sleeps 14

The large gently sloped property has 150 feet of waterfront with a large 50 foot swimming & boat dock that can accommodate three 20+ foot boats. One of the best views on the lake in one of the best areas. The house is located within a couple miles of a grocery, drug, sporting goods, and video stores; also the state boat launch. The Victorian town of Hawley, PA, is just another mile with it's antique shops, fine restaurants, stores, & live theater.

This is the good end of the lake, The other end is narrow and can make a round trip to the store, an hour. (It's a big Lake) The area is just full of stuff to do from a Sports Fun Park and Animal petting zoo to paint ball and golf. On the calmer side there are nature walks, Triple W Ranch with horseback riding and The Lacawac Bird Sanctuary to name a few. The house has 5 bedrooms, it was 6 but two where made into one large room (the bunk-room) has 7 twin beds in it. The other four bedrooms have:1 queen and 3 full size beds, respectively

Tenants either, supply their own linens or may contract them for an additional charge. There is a very large 27 x 40 lodge style living room. The kitchen is 12 x 30 and seats 10 - 12. There are 3 full and 1 half baths. The great room has a pool table, FOOSBALL table, regulation DART BOARD, a QUEEN size pull out bed a double size futon & a full bath

No Smoking. Owner is a PA lic. Realtor

Pets are permitted upon approval (well trained and house broken, no clawing or gnawing, crated).

Must bring crate and keep dog on lower level or kitchen

$175/ week for an approved dog

We were pleasantly surprised with our stay at this rental. The cottage was huge with plenty of space for our family reunion. The cottage was well maintained and the kitchen was especially well equipped for large groups. The grounds were very nice and the lake front and boat docks made for a great time swimming, boating, and fishing. The location was very convenient to restaurants and other activities.Our family would love to go again we had so much fun. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend.

Clean, Relaxing, Quiet.............was the perfect place for our week's vacation.
Everything you can want is there in the house. Everything works!
Since the property was booked without us having any knowledge of Lake
Wallenpaupack, we could not have chosen a better location than this!
Really nice owner to work with and he is so very accomodating. Thanks, Steve!

Great family stay

This house was large and wonderful for our family reunion over the holidays. The owner was laid-back and the size of the rooms and the layout of the house with the entertainment center downstairs was great for our kids. The views of the lake were gorgeous in the morning and overall we had an amazing time. It was a really nice getaway. Thank you so much, Steve!!!! My only criticism is that the living room looked like it had not been cleaned, so we ended up spending the first day on our hands and knees with a damp cloth mopping the floor. Otherwise, we had a lovely stay.

Amazing weekend getaway

This was a great weekend getaway rental! I organized a group of friends to get together for a fall weekend in the poconos. It was so nice and relaxing to be in such a beautiful setting in the woods on the lake and in a comfortable and cozy home perfect for us to hang out and catch up with each other. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking to have a family reunion or get together of friends. We are looking forward to coming back this year!

Awesome birthday weekend!

I stayed at the Windward cottage for a three day weekend to celebrate my birthday with a group of 12 others and we had an amazing time. The cottage is really warm and cozy and very spacious. It's a great place to stay if you're looking to get away from it all and relax. The cottage is very well equipped with fun things to do, we never even bothered to go sightseeing. We all decided we're definitely going back in the summer.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway
