Newly refinished Adirondack cottage well off main road. House is set back from lake, with property extending toward 75 ft shallow sandy beach with boat dock. Super location for fishing or boating - explore the beautiful Sacandaga Lake, islands, and boat-accessible restaurants. Many other activities, including hiking, antiques, visits to nearby Saratoga Springs or retail outlets and amusement parks of Lake George. Can sleep six using the futon in the main room, but best suited to four (queen in one bedroom, two twins in the other).

Nearest Airport: Albany at 45 Miles
Car: necessary
Gt Sacandaga is a large but relatively quiet lake when compared with Lake George. It is 45 minutes from Saratoga Springs, so OK if you want to drive over there and check out horse racing, jazz, great food, etc. Lake George is also 45 minutes away, so you can always visit the rides, etc, and explore the outlet stores

What a wonderful vacation spot for a family!
The great sandy beach sits at a lovely location on the lake with beautiful views and plenty of sand for the kids to enjoy and on which to enjoy a beach bon fire in the evening. The cottage is very clean with higher end furnishing and decorations and is impeccably maintained. From the well stocked kitchen to the small fresh cut flowers in the cottage upon our arrival, every detail was covered to equip us for a perfect vacation.
We look forward to enjoying this rental for years to come.
