2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, sleeps 5

1/2 Of a duplex cottage (2 complete houses attached together with hallway between) in family oriented private association. Includes 2 bedrooms, living room and kitchen. Shared 50 ft porch on water with beautiful view of lake and sunsets, lawn between lake and cottage. Plenty of parking. Clean.

The cottage has a Weber gas BBQ grill, linens are included (no towels), shower/large antique bath tub, full kitchen including gas stove and oven, full-size refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, dishes/utensils provided 42' HD digital cable TV (with High Speed Internet Access, VCR, DVD, Library of books, DVDs and videos, games, water toys, beach chairs, picnic table, swing set & play area, roped swimming area with swim float (water is just a few inches deep at the steps) Dock facilities(drop off/pick up only). No Pets please.

Nearest Beach : beach at 0.1 Miles

Just a few yards to public beach and 'The Big Catch' restaurant. Close to hiking trails, shopping, antiques, restaurants, and many natural attractions. Watch the town fireworks on July 4th right from our porch or lawn. Boat rentals available at nearby marina. Newfound Lake has a 45 foot clarity rating - one of the cleanest in the world. Roped-in swim area with raft (water is just a few inches deep at the steps). The dock in front of our cottage is shared between several cottages and is for loading and unloading only. Boat slips are available at the local marina.

  • $750 pre/post season, $850 peak season week
  • Peak Season (June 16- Sept 3) - $850/week +9% NH room tax.
    Pre and post-season price is $750/week+9% NH room tax.
    Weekly rentals only.
    Will consider renting less than 1 week if not reserved 7 days before requested date..

    Check-in time: 1 PM Saturday
    Check-out time: Saturday 9 AM

    50% Deposit required to reserve cottage.
    Balance is due in cash upon arrival.
    Balance can be paid by check if received at least 2 weeks before rental date.

    We only rent one side of the duplex. No exceptions.

This was the first time we have rented,so i was a little worried.But what a find! We were very impressed. It had everything for the family(when not swimming),from games,to books,to movies. Very clean and neat.We will be renting again next year!

We would definitely recommend this as a must to stay. It was a real up North paradise getaway starting with the inside decor to its outside surroundings. The Lessards offer a thousand welcomes and make themselves accessible to all your needs. The sunsets overlooking the lake made my wife and I's stay a romantic getaway to cherish for years to come.

We drove up to Newfound Lake from MA. The cabin was camp-style comfortable, slept Grandma and Grandpa in one bedroom and 2 adults + 2 kids in the other bedroom (one child on the floor, there's 3 twin beds). A good selection of board games, puzzles, and movies were in the living room. Beautiful breezy front porch. Great grassy shady yard. Swing set (available to the association) right next to the duplex. Must be a typo-- there's only one bathroom in the cabin. The whole cabin was SPOTLESS, and I'm picky. There were sparkling-clean bed linens, but there were no towels. The owners are delightfully friendly and generous. Clean and functional kitchen.
No exaggeration: Newfound Lake is virtually drinkable, its so clean. Gorgeous, mountainous, low-key, super-friendly area. Great swimming area 20 ft. from house. Nearby downtown Bristol (5 minutes away) has some cute shops and the necessities.
Definitely: Go see Sculptured rocks (15 minutes away), ask a local for directions, wear your bathing suit.
See Profile falls (15 minute drive + a very short hike), wear your suit.
Rainy day: Kellerhaus Ice Cream Sundae bar and gift shop (25 minutes away), and "Fun Spot"--huge arcade/bowling/skee ball etc.(5 minutes from Kellerhaus).
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Our stay at the Lessard cottage was wonderful. Perfect location for a relaxing vacation. The kids loved the swimming area as well as the public beach. The cottage was spotless, we didn't need to bring a thing. That was terrific. We're looking forward to next year already. Thanks Betty & Larry.
