Good Time

We were a group of 13 people. We had a nice time in David's house. Very good location, nice views, and excellent amenities. David (the owner) was very organized, helpful, reasonable, and generous. Overall, it was a great stay, and we may come back later.

Wonderful stay

I highly recommand this house for a stay in the White Mountains. It is close to Franconia Notch, where we visited the Flume Gorge. The White Mountains contain a lot of other activities and trails for hiking. We hiked the mount Avalon, which is a short hike with waterfalls and a nice view on the top, in Crawford Notch.

At the house, resting in the hot tub at the end of the day is a great pleasure, with the view on the mountains. We also used the grill, the pinball, and the table football.

THIS PLACE IS GREAT- FABULOUS VIEWS, GREAT ROOMY HOME WITH EVERYTHING YOU COULD POSSIBLY NEED. THE HOT TUB POOL TABLE, AND PIN BALL MACHINES ADDED TO THE FUN.OUR FAMILY CAN'T WAIT TO RETURN!!!

Franconia Range at its best!

What a great place for a reunion! So many places to accomodate friends (and next time wee'd bring the kids). There are a multitude of activities for rain (pool, pinball, fusball) or shine (Kinsman trailhead is a stone's throw, touristy notch activities a short drive), or snow (Canon Mt, and Franconia Inn's cross country skiing are right there). The view is breathtaking! The house is a great setup for taking it in: from the moment you wake up you can see Lafayette out your bedroom window, to taking in a cup of coffee in the living room on the cozy leather couch looking out at Franconia Range, to catching the alpine glow or sunset on the deck, or just relaxing in the middle of the woods in the hottub.
My husband and I live in New Hampshire and I work in Littleton, but it still felt like a retreat for us in the middle of the best part of new Hampshire. Our Boston friends were in heaven, as were we.

This house was great. My friends and I wanted to get away for a ski weekend. We went to Bretton Woods, about a 40 minute ride. The kitchen was great so that we could cook out own meals. The pinball machine was awesome, everyone loved it. The hot tub was great after a long day of skiing in the very cold weather (it was about 0 on the mountain). The house was big enough for all of us (there was 10 of us). The view from the house is one of the best views I have every seen. We are already planning on returning next year, we loved it so much. This house would be a great rental in the winter or the summer.
