The 'La Jolla Haus' is a private, clean two-bedroom, one bath(+outdoor hot/cold shower)cottage. It has a one car attached garage (guaranteed parking)just a few feet from the front door for easy unloading and fast unpacking. The 'haus' is a single level(no stairs) spacious 1100 sq. foot guest house with new porcelain tile floors through out. It is fully equipped with linens, beach chairs, washer and dryer and everything you need to prepare meals in the kitchen. It is surrounded with a patio of tropical plants, a bubbling fountain and comfortable padded lounges. There are two patio tables with a new twinkle-lit pergola for outdoor dining. This inviting cottage is nestled in a queit residential neighborhood but within walking distance of the beach and Sundays Farmers Market. The San Diego Zoo, Sea World and Legoland are just a short drive away. Or, just keep it simple...spend a day at the beach, stop at the local fish market, start the BBQ, and then relax at your home-away-from-home.

There is an additional daily rate if the sofa bed is used. Linens are provided and there is an extra comforter for winter. 100% cotton bedding. There is a new wall furnace in living room and a space heater is provided.There is also a portable fan for the summer. Spacious walk-in closet, dressing table, dressers and bookshelf with varied, popular reading material. Super cute, very clean and near everything.....private and quiet. Has everything and more you need for a short or extended beach vacation......espeically loved the sounds of the fountain on the private patio. Will rent again during our next stay!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Home Away from home

The Haus was very comfortable & clean. felt right at home. Close to the beach was a plus. Our 2 yr old son enjoyed the place and loved the huge collection of children's books, toys & puzzles. actually we enjoyed the books collection too. Kitchen was well- equiped and we had everythng we needed. Diane & Bill were so helpful. Will definitely recommend it to friends and would love to come back on our next visit to san diego..Thanks Diane we had a great time.
