Symi is one of the most beautiful Greek islands in the Aegean Sea. The bright blue color of the sea combined with the clear sunlight most of the days throughout the year, gives you the illusion of living inside a painting. The whole island has been declared as an architecturally protected area. The natural harbor of the island is surrounded by hills full of colorful houses and churches that reflect the island's rich past.
Our property is located on the lower end of the old stone stairway (Kali Strata) which connects the harbor (Yialos) and the upper part of Symi (Horio). Most of the 19th century classical mansion houses are built alongside this street, some of them now ruined giving the place a blast from the past feeling. Located in a quiet neighborhood, the house has balconies with excellent view that are perfect for relaxing under the Greek sun. With just a few minutes walk you can easy access the harbor's main road in order to enjoy walks by the sea, cycling, fishing, swimming and plenty of other outdoor activities. Cruises are been organized daily to explore the beauties of the Greek nature and taxi-boats can guide you to various places and beaches around the island. The market, restaurants and bars are close enough but do not disturb the calm environment around the area.
