Central to the East, West and North coast lines, whether you are looking to escape for some peace and quiet, to fish, to hill walk, to photograph, to cycle, to shoot, to watch the salmon leaping at Shin Falls, to play golf on courses such as the world famous Royal Dornoch or to enjoy the many beaches, fabulous surfing on the north coast and of course you have to take a drive or walk along Lairg's Lochshin, its views, beaches, bird watching etc. are breath taking. Quite simply Lairg is absolutely the perfect place to set your base. .
Sydney House is also available for use as a location for photographers and film makers.
Lairg is within easy driving distance or train ride of all the attractions Inverness and its surrounding areas have to offer such as the visitor favourite Lochness, boat rides to see the dolphins, hill walks, shopping, cinema, good dining and much more.

For guests who wish to bring their PETS we have now put in place a purpose built kennel and run.However there is a strict policy of no animals in Sydney House.
