This charming, two bedroom home is located on a quiet, safe, residential dead-end street, overlooking a wide canal that leads to Lemon Bay (two bridges). You will be just just three miles (five minutes) from the beaches of Manasota Key and close to shops, restaurants and golf.
The pool has a pool cage with a large sunning area and is solar heated. The fully equipped, open floor plan modern kitchen has a breakfast bar. The dining/sun room overlooks the pool and canal. Retired executive from the Travel business. I have two other houses for rent in Englewood. Living full time in the Chicago area until my wife retires so we just spend the summers and Christmas here..
Alec McNish purchased this house in 1998
Overlooking a wide canal on a very quiet street but just a few blocks to everything. We bought in Englewood as it is quiet and laid back, like old Florida. Parks and nature preserves abound.
Just the right size and easy to take care of. We love being on the water althogh while we have a doc, no boat at the moment..
Thanks for everything! The pool was great, the house was great. We couldn't have asked for better waether if we directly ordered it.We enjoyed the beach, race track and mineature golf. The ultimate was fishing off the pier, watching the dolphns play and the sunset. The day before we left the orange blossoms started to come out on the trees. I remember the smell when I was a kid and never forgot it.Soon we will be heading North to the rain. Hopefully the snow will be gone.
Our stay at the Manor house was Wonderful! The house was exactly as described & has everything you need and was very clean.
The house is the perfect location, It is on a very quiet street and close to the beaches, restraunts, and shopping.
The pool was heaven! Alec was amazing his communication is top notch ! We fished off the dock, visited the beach everyday, went on canoe rides, ate at some fabulous restraunts, and had cook outs. My wife and I have been vacationing in Englewood for years now. Always staying at hotels. This spot was the perfect get-away! In a quite neighborhood, on a canal, your own private swimming pool, convenient to beaches. . . .
The house was clean and well maintained and we felt very comfortable staying there. You're on vacation, with all the comforts of home!
I would highly recommend this to anyone.
This rental home was perfect and we definitely recommend it. We have been vacationing in the Englewood area for the last six years and this rental is conveniently located to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. We were able to bring our boat and tie it up at the dock. It was only a 15 minutes boatride to Stump Pass and the fishing was great. The lanai/pool area was a great place to have coffee in the morning or just relax.
