Romantic log cabin on private lake, one of 8 unique cabins on 35 acres. Our Lake House overlooks a beautiful 3 acre lake filled with trout, bass, bream, and catfish. Enjoy breakfast on your lakeside deck, and in the evening relax in the Hot tub and watch the moon's reflection ripple over the lake. Rustically furnished with many antiques and creature comforts, the great room features a vaulted ceiling with a skylight, stone fireplace, 50 inch TV, video library, stereo with CD, comfy furniture, executive style desk, local phone. Master bedroom and two loft bedrooms, which overlook the great room. 2 private baths. AC/heat, full kitchen with all appliances, all linens included, washer/dryer. Two decks and hot tub right on Lake, swimming platform, fishing pier, white sandy beach, paddle boats, Holland gas grill.

  • $150-250/night (depending on whether one or three bedroom cabin), $975-1295/week (for three bedroom, plus applicable taxes and deposits) -Please inquire for information on additional units (and about our four bedroom cabin). 2 night minimum. Four night minimum during summer.

    Special rates available for two person parties.

    Note: preferred method of contact is via email.
  • Cabins start from $495 per week (off season for one bedroom) up to $1295 per week (for 3 bedroom during peak season). Please contact for most up to date rates.

    Family Reunions: We can sleep up to 35 people for your family reunion (excluding June - August). Email owner for more details.

We loved our stay. But there was a discrepancy between the HomeAway website's price and the actual price. The owners did a good job of helping us over that obstacle--Thank goodness.

I was glad we were all sisters, there was a lack of privacy upstairs.
I would recommend this to a family with kids, or just 2 couples.
Love the waterfall, lake, and the hot tub was great.
Owner's Response: We do have units up to 4 bedrooms for larger parties. The Lake House is a hand hewn log cabin with Balcony bedrooms on each end of the massive fire place. Looking out the picture window in the Master Bedroom all you see is our private lake with a mountain background. Our rates do vary depending on the time of the year. They are correct on our web site or you can call for up to date rates. Bring your fishing pole!

Stay in the mountains!

With all of distractions the world today has to offer, it is hard to get away when you at home, but not at Saluda Mountains Lake Retreat. My stay here at the retreat has been breathtaking and unfathomable. With the birds chirping and this misty mountain mornings, I was only distracted by pure love for nature and astonishing landscape around me. I was able to spend my entire afternoon catching up on work through the high speed internet connection and play with my dog at the same time. This place is really a dream come true and I know that I will never forget it.
