On the ocean at Chandler Bay, this 3 room bungalow sits on a rocky bluff. 60,000 square feet affords privacy and comfort. We know you will not be disappointed. Look up after sunset to a star studded sky reminiscent of days of your youth when Orion, The Big and Little dipper were easily seen. Oh! There's the Milky Way. The lawn furniture provided allows for enjoying the sun and the gentle breeze. Away from the crowds, etc. this cottage is a relaxing pleasure. Prefer shade? Our hammock will do. Pick wild blueberries and raspberries along the property's edge. Watch the working lobster boats or the tide going in or out. For more modern conveniences, a satellite dish provides television viewing and music as desired. Preferences for entertainment can be utilized by CD, DVD, or VCR tape.

Car: necessary
Walk to the Island at low tide. Golfing, kayaking, puffin tours are all available locally. Sites not to be missed. Just an hour away is Acadia National Park to the south, and Campobello to the north. July attractions; Jonesport Lobster boat races, 4th of July parade and local flee market and pancake breakfast. August events; Machias blueberry festival and Downeast rodeo event.

We really enjoyed the time at the cottage - watched Eagles, listened to the waves lap the shore, ate out on the deck, watched the tides come and go.
The cottage is very well maintained and very comfortable.

Don't miss buying lobsters right off the dock, or hiking Great Wass Island, walking the beach at Roque Bluffs or touring Campabello Island!!
