Excellent for family holidays

The apartment is exactly as large, stylish, well-equipped and nice as described in the listing. We were traveling with our two young children (almost 1 and almost 3) and one set of grandparents and we were very comfortable in the apartment. The "living" part is separate from the bedrooms so it is very convenient with kids in the sense that they can sleep undisturbed while everyone else hangs out in the living area. The one thing one has to keep an eye on though is that the windows are not child safe. Traveling with two young children we very much appreciated the washing machine and the dryer. The apartment is well-maintained and felt clean. The "optional" housekeeper was very nice and polite.
The location is perfect and there is no need to rent a car if you don't intend to do a lot of sightseeing outside of Cascais [and Lisbon]; it's walking distance down-town, to the beach, restaurants, playgrounds and museums and so on. There are also bus stops within less than 5 minutes walking from the apartment. For those that arrive by car there is easy and quick access to the highway.
We were very happy and comfortable in the apartment and would not hesitate coming back. Pedro who managed the rental was very good to deal with and always responded quickly if needed. We warmly recommend this apartment to other visitors.

The Apartment is located in a very quiet and relaxing area of Cascais, 4/5 minutes walking from a 10 Km Ocean Front Cycle way and with plenty of Sea Food and Portuguese Style Restaurants. Within Walking Distance there are all the services you may need for your stay (Bakery, Supermarket, Banks, Hairdresser etc.) and Cascais's Marina with its Bars,Pubs and Restaurants. Close by Golf Courses, the Guincho Beach famous for its Surf and Wind Surf, and Lord Byron's Sintra Town with its palaces and amazing scenery. Estoril known for its Casino is just 5 Km away. Lisbon with all its attractions is 30 minutes away in a train ride famous for its Ocean/River views.
