Tobago Vacation Rental villa

Sunset Valley Estate was all and more than we could have hoped for. What a find. This vacation was, as my husband put it, the best one we ever had, due in no small part to the villa and the caretakers, Mom and Pop. The villa was well appointed, accommodation was excellent and very clean and tidy, the grounds were absolutely beautiful with fruit trees and wild life abounding. Each morning Pop and Mom would have another bucket of fresh fruit waiting for us in the kitchen. Mom and Pop were wonderful taking care of us in a very unobtrusive way. Mom did our laundry every morning which was great. The views over the Caribbean from the huge porch were stunning and the sunsets quite breathtaking, the pool overlooking the rain forest was a perfect place to sun and swim. Tranquil would be an understatement, far away from the hustle and bustle of Scarborough where the beaches were crowded and the town noisy. The beach, Englishman's Bay was wonderful, considered one of the best in the Caribbean, and what was more many a day it felt like a private beach as there were never many people there and the snorkeling was absolutely fantastic. Having vacationed in many places, Hawaii, Australia and numerous Caribbean islands this was the very best. We were there with our 4 twentysomething children and they just loved it. One must have a car to stock up on groceries in Scarborough, although the general store in Castara has quite a few items that we needed. The locals at Castara and Parlatuvier were friendly and helpful and there were some great restaurants there too - Cas Creole and The Boat House just two, and also an internet cafe right on the beach. Ask Pop to take you on his rain forest walk to his favorite waterfall, a very worthwhile trip. All in all I would recommend Sunset Valley Estate to anyone who is looking for a very special vacation. It would be nice to keep it a secret, we will definitely be returning. My husband would like to stay there for one month! A very special place with 2 wonderful caretakers, thanks Mom and Pop.

I have to say that my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at Sunset Valley. The home, the view, and the surroundings were everything one would imagine their Caribbean vacation to be. One can appreciate the serene view, the feeling of being in the middle of the rain forest, and the simplicity that the home near Englishman’s Bay has to offer. I will be going back…

The most relaxing holiday one can have is if you fall in love with the property that you are renting. Sunset Valley is the most relaxing and beautiful properties in the West Indies if you like to be quiet and have a holiday to recharge your batteries. The owners are kindness it's self never intruding but always there if you require help or information on the island.
The property is isolated and if it is night life you want it is not for you.
We have been six times and now considerate it as our second home which we will continue to visit each year if we can get a booking!! .
