Peniscola is the most important tourist destination north of Castellon. Where is one of the most important historical monuments of Spain: the castle of the pope moon. at the foot of the castle comes the long sandy beach of 6 km: the north shore of peñiscola. A few kilometers south of peñiscola is the natural park of Sierra de irta, where you can enjoy two pristine beaches and hiking, mountain biking and bird sighting.
