Photos and Description of the Montego Bay vacation villa rental
Built in the 1940‘s by the Duke of Marlborough, Drambuie beckons back to old Jamaica when conversation was entertainment and impeccable, discreet service was natural. Today this noteworthy, very private estate retains much of its original features plus upgraded and modern amenities such as air conditioned bedrooms, cable televisions and Internet access. In other words, Drambuie has the best of both worlds.
Rambuie is beautifully furnished with Chinese rugs, French posters from the '30s, carvings from Jamaica, England, China & Africa, Chippendale & Queen Anne pieces in an eclectic mix with wicker terrace furniture. Just down the terrace steps and over the lawn are the large pool (with a view to die for,) tables with umbrellas and a shaded pavilion. At night, the Montego Bay lights up across the water. Star-gazing through Drambuie’s telescope adds magical nighttime drama. The Drambuie chef enjoys cooking many specialties including Seafood Royale (fish, lobster and shrimp in cream sauce), Quesadillas, Lobster Thermidor, Sweet & Sour Pork, Key Lime Pie and muchmore. The meals are served on Wedgwood bone china and presented as works of art. The night view from the dinner table on the terrace is breathtaking and beautiful beyond words.
