This property and its amenities are accurately described, but its listing does not do justice to just how incredible a vacation spot it is, especially if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing, romantic get-away that is safe. The layout and size of the condo is perfect for a couple alone or a family. Because of its ground floor location facing the beautiful white sand beach, opening the glass patio doors extends the condo into a paradise that is immediately accessible. The unit is fresh, bright, and clean, and upon entering you know you are on a tropical holiday. The neighbours in adjoining units are friendly and helpful, but not intrusive. The tiny town of Treasure Cay is laid back, but everything you need while on vacation is readily available, including an early morning coffee and bakery shop, a grocery store, a liquor store, restaurants and outdoor bars, and gift, jewellery, and clothing shops. Though these are all within walking distance, golf carts can be rented and driven anywhere within Treasure Cay. There is a taxi service that can take you to the port town of Marsh Harbour 45 minutes away, or to the passenger ferry dock where trips to surrounding islands and attractions can be purchased. The ferry shcedules and lists of events can be found in the local paper. The beach itself kept us busy most days, with long walks, shell hunting, sand castles, and swimming. The golf course is close by and best played in the early morning or late afternoon when it is not too hot. We have been to this location twice, and look forward to going back the next chance we get. Make sure you book for at least 2 weeks so that you have a chance to both relax and explore.
