This unique and historic lakefront home nestled in the foothills of the White mountains is one of very few in the area able to accommodate large groups under one roof. Owned by a real train engineer, the house has lots of railroad nostalgia sure to thrill all. We boast the largest yard on the lake, great for weddings and summer fun. A Hot tub, horseshoe pit, a swing set for the kids, a boathouse and a store/restaurant just a stone-throw away are amenities hard to find elsewhere. The house faces to the west which means lots of sun and great sunsets. Our huge deck and screened porch afford great views. There are 2 living rooms, each has a cable TV, one with DVD the other with VCR. There is a Pool table, fireplace, and giant, fully equipped kitchen/dining room with woodstove. 2 fridges and 2 freezers as well.

Best New Years in a long time!!

We stayed here for New Year's week of 2007 and had a blast. Our group consisted the ages of 25-35. There was plenty of room for all of us. The house was perfect for our type of crowd. Unfortunately, there wasn't much snow on the ground, but there was plenty to do inside the house. The living room/kitchen was perfect for entertaining. We were all able to be together. The hot tub was so relaxing and private. I would highly recommend this house to anyone. I may even consider a summer family reunion. It was a week, we will never forget!!

Bryant Pond Station - was wonderful

We recently had a family reunion at Bryant Pond and celebrated our Dad's 72nd Birthday. Bryant Pond was a perfect place for us and we had a terrific time. Bryant Pond offered plenty of space inside, so even the few rainy days we had were lots of fun. Outdoors we enjoyed the the views of the loons and water and had lots of fun playing kickball, horseshoes and riding in the numerous kayaks and canoes that came with the property.

My brother Lucas is physically challenged and wheelchair bound. This property was perfect to accommodate his needs and allow him easy access to the main rooms of the house, his bedroom, the sundeck, and even out on the flat yard to get to the dock for rides on the pontoon boat.

There was always either something fun to do or a multitude of places to just go relax and enjoy the beauty of the area. At night the kids put on talent and puppet shows, where the upper level living room served as the perfect "stage" for the adults sitting below in the dining area. It was adorable! After that it was off to the fire pit for somores and recapping the events of the day.

The owner, Jonathon Wells, was extremely responsive, considerate and accommodating and was a pleasure to deal with.

We kept a family journal of our week at Byrant Pond and most of the comments described it as the best family vacation we have ever had.

I would highly recommend this property to anyone with a big family or group that wants a relaxing, informal and enjoyable week away.

Perfect House for a large group

I found Bryant Pond house fit our groups needs perfectly and we are all looking forward to going back next year. Due to the size of the house there was a quiet section for those who wished to go to bed early and the people who wished to stay up late did not have to worry about being quiet. The owner is very easy to deal with and very helpful with anything you need or any questions you may have.

MLK weekend in Maine

We found this house online and the description fitted our needs of ~ 20 adults who wanted to skiing for the MLK weekend. When we arrived the stove was already running, making the house pleasantly warm. On inspection, we did a bed count and came to 24. The house really sleeps 26 considering there are two separate living rooms. We were pleasantly surprised about the size of the house and how well it lived up to the online description. One of the main plusses was the excellent hottub which is fantastic after a day of skiing.

I highly recommend this house for large groups.

We come from ME, MA & FL. This will be our third year and we are already looking forward to it. There is 20-24 of us, adults and teenagers. There is plenty of room for everyone, especially with the two living rooms during Baseball season. We bring a ski boat and have a great time by day and play games at night or just sit out by the out door fire pit. The lawn is nice and level also, so lawn bowling goes over well with our goup. I can honestly say whether you are a small group or a large one you will enjoy every relaxing minute. Plenty of room and privacy all wraped into one setting. Also the lake is not that crowded so kyaking is great. The scenery is breathtaking.
In closing all I can say is come and ENJOY. We do!!!
