Burkes cottage is nestled under ancient pines and towering maples on 3 acres of perennial gardens and manicured lawns on picturesque Indian Lake in the tiny hamlet of Sabael. Located in the Adirondack Park - one of the last great wilderness areas in the northeast. Indian Lake's shoreline is 90% 'forever wild' with approximately 10% privately held property, providing a pristine wilderness experience. This wonderful Adirondack style 'camp' overlooks Indian Lake and has a fireplace. This wonderful Lakeside cottage overlooking Indian Lake has a fireplace in the great room, full kitchen, dining area, 2 full baths, heat, covered deck, screened porch, & charcoal grill for your enjoyment, as well as a beach, swim float, waterfront observation deck, campfire pit, boat dock and canoes supplied free of charge.

Mountain climbing, hiking, mountain biking, swimming, boating, fishing, ice caving, etc., etc. 2 golf courses nearby; raft the Indian River through the Hudson River gorge, visit the Adirondack Museum and art galleries in Blue Mountain Lake, ride the rails at NorthCreek (weather permitting); down hill ski at Gore or Oak Mtn, x- country ski from your doorstep, snowmobile from your cottage (weather permitting) to Indian Lake or Speculator snomo trails; visit Lake Placid, Lake George, Old Forge. Or....just relax and experience the serenity of the wilderness surrounding you.

  • $140-$250/night, $800-$1550 per/week (Weekly only rentals during Summer months)
  • ***We have additional cottages available if Burke Cottage is booked. Please contact us for more information and photos***

    Rates range from $140 to $250 per/night (2 night minimum except Holidays - 3 nights) effective approx. Sept. 6-June 21 and, during summer months weekly rentals only from $800 to $1550 per/wk., approx. June 21-Labor Day Weekend.

  • Please note: Rentals are by the week only during summer months (i.e. approx. June 21 through Labor Day weekend. After Labor Day, rentals are for a two night minimum. All reservations are firm; balances due in full on or before May 1st for the summer months.
