House has an all wood interior with wide pine plank floors. A sleeping loft, with window & skylight, acts as a second bedroom - ideal for child or other adult. Antiques, paintings & views add to the interesting custom details. There is a fireplace in bedroom & living room and a boat on the premises. Private pool & sandy beach are minutes away as are tennis & basketball courts. Easy distance to Tanglewood & the Berkshires. Half hour to Hunter and Windham, 2 hours to NYC. This property is available year round.

Through renting my house and having been introduced to the beauty of this lake and the many things it has to offer, there are now several additional property owners with homes of their own in Sleepy Hollow Lake. While definitely away in the country, every convenience is nearby. It's a lovely, still fairly secret and uncommercial spot, nestled in the foothills of the Catskills.

The description and photos are very accurate. We enjoyed our stay very much. The home is beautiful and we felt completely relaxed in the peaceful setting. The owner was very friendly and helpful. A listing of local eateries and things to do was provided which we found very helpful, and a nice touch... We look forward to staying here again!

My wife and I brought our dog to the cabin for a long weekend. We found the cabin to be very nice. It was clean and very well organized. The setting is in the woods and on the lake. It really is a lovely house and we had a great time. We enjoyed exploring the woods and the shoreline. The only complaints that we have are that the full bed is a bit on the small side. And, if you plan to bbq steaks, bring your own steak knives! Otherwise, the cabin is cozy and very well appointed. Thank you for a wonderful weekend in the woods!
