Absolutely Wonderful!

My family has stayed at "The Ark" for several summers and have enjoyed every minute! The lodge is beautiful and spacious with plenty of sleeping areas and has all the amenities needed for a home away from home stay. Each time we have arrived, the lodge is neat and clean with fresh linens available. Gull Pond and the surrounding area is serene and quiet. We love swimming in the fresh, clean water and using the kayak and canoe which are provided. Each day my family goes for long, peaceful walks on the nearby trails. For excursions, we take trips into the town where there are wonderful little shops and delicious places to eat, or we shop at the local IGA and use the barbecue provided at the lodge. Whenever we are out, we keep our eyes open for the occasional moose sighting, and we take trips out at dusk along the main roads where we often see moose by the side of the road (sometimes even with their young). We would highly recommend this lodge to anyone looking to get away to a peaceful environment. We enjoy every minute of our stay at the lodge and hate leaving to come home to the hustle and bustle of normal life.
