Located on Lake Seminole about 1/2 mile from Seminole State Park. This home has a screen porch and there is a dock with a covered boat house. Often you can see ospreys catching fish in the mornings. Lake Seminole is a renowned duck hunting and fishing area. In the State Park, you also have access to a swimming beach, miniature golf, canoe and paddleboat rentals. The home is new and furnished with all the comforts of home. You will be able to really relax and spend time with your family and the great outdoors. There are several restaurants nearby and also a couple golf courses.

Anchor's Rest is located in the Southern Rivers section of Georgia as defined by the Georgia Department of Industry, Tourism, and Trade. There are indian mounds, the Swamp Gravy Theater, and Bluegrass festivals that all make great days trips from the house. Seminole State Park is within a mile of the house and has miniature golf, hiking trails and a swimming beach. The town of Bainbridge has bowling, movies, and restaurants. The town of Donalsonville has some nice gift and antique shops. The Donalsonville Country Club is nearby and has a nice course with great out of town visitor rates.
