Guest art House:
The holiday House Il Giardino dei Cedri is part of an art project in which we theorized that the future of art is to make directly an aesthetic experience living a place thought of as a work of art and not as only an architectural space. This for we could be good the spirit and the body. The are other homes in the area where the same principle, in fact, our guest house is called “guest art house”.
All our guests can feel well here, We are pleased to welcome you , and share an aesthetic experience.
Our sustainable and ethical lifestyle, indeed part of an ancient Sicilian tradition and teachings handed down from our parents. This tradition is now rediscovering amazingly contemporary ethical and ecological .
Sicily is the first Italian region to organic farms, all the Sicilians like to eat produced from our own garden and those living in the city to bring you the good products from a farmer trusted. The Sicilians brought the tradition of the small self agricultural production, which is now being rediscovered an ethical attitude for the future even where the Sicilians have emigrated. In the period after the tomato harvest, from Sicily to Turin, Sicilians go on Sundays to prepare the tomato sauce that is stored for the winter.
In small countries, the land inherited from grandparents are maintained by families and when the time comes, all the relatives come to pick olives leading to the mill for the production of oil, they consume throughout the winter. Others produce the grain, and so, plumbers, doctors, electricians, masons, farmers, teachers, become farmers in the week and keeping a sacred relationship with their land.
For us it is natural and cultural look at the labels of the products before buying them, save water, recycle the wet paper, glass and plastic, eating the products of our garden, and seasonal foods, go to buy vegetables directly from a farmer who has trusted the garden behind the banquet. Buy eggs home-made, bread from the neighbor who has a wood stove, and we homemade pasta. Also we make jams and preserves, we use ecological detergents and soaps.
We believe in the potential of each correct sign in the life / We believe in solidarity between human beings / We believe and we want a world where all echoes are fine / We believe in harmony and preserve health / believe and preserve the beauty / We believe in the enormous potential of every individual man conscious.
