Brooklyn Vacation Rental apartment

My husband and I and 2 others stayed in this apartment in July, 2008. It was a wonderful experience! Roger had provided excellent directions to reach the apartment, and also had provided a Brooklyn Bus Map and area map of sites and restaurants. This apartment is in Windsor Terrace. The apartment is very comfortable, with airconditioning in the living room and one in the bedroom. The kitchen was well stocked, with dishes and pans if you want to cook there. There were a few groceries already in the refrigerator. The living room had a queen size sofa sleeper, TV with cable, desk and internet hookups. There is hardwood floors with area rugs. The bedroom had a queen size bed - very comfortable! There is 2 large closets in the bedroom, 1 large closet off the living room and another closet off the kitchen with iron and ironing board. The subway is just a short 3 block - 10 min. walk away that goes right into Manhattan. There is a nice grocery store right across the street. About 3 blocks away are lots of restaurants. There is the Windsor Cafe which was so good we kept going back, 2 Italian and 1 Chinese, and others. There are small fruit stands and Bagel and Muffin places. About 5-6 blocks away is Park Slope with more restaurants. All in all, this was a great experience and if we come back to NY, will try to stay there again. Roger's assistant Barbara met us at the door and was very helpful.
