Chalet at Lake Lure is set in a wooded neighborhood with free Lake Lure access. The open swim area is located a short walk down a gravel road and past a quaint waterfall (you may drive if you prefer). There you will find a beautiful setting with wooden docks, picnic tables, lounge chairs, and a kayak rack that holds a two-seat kayak for your enjoyment.
Whether you want to get away for a relaxing vacation or a long weekend, this cozy chalet offers all the comforts of home — roomy kitchen complete with dishwasher, refrigerator, range, microwave and coffeemaker; spacious dining area that opens to a large enclosed sunporch; each bedroom offers a queen size bed; spacious living room with TV, stereo, books, movies and more.
Chalet at Lake Lure is located on property that was once a 100-acre youth camp, with its borders on one of the most scenic areas of Lake Lure. The rock-faced Rumbling Bald Mountains rise toward heaven from the meadow on the west side of “camp.” In addition to the commonly-seen fish, turtles, ducks, and squirrel, are deer and wild turkey, which roam freely on the property. On rare occasion you may spot a raccoon, fox, bobcat or even a bear.
Plus it is located just three (3) miles from the shopping towns of Chimney Rock and Lake Lure. The dramatic Rocky Broad River flows alongside the town where you can enjoy walking into an old general store, many shops and restaurants that are full of gifts and goods with that good old mountain flair. Chimney Rock State Park is right in town.
Within an hour are such spots as Historic Hendersonville, culture-rich Asheville (home of the Biltmore Estate, The Grove Park Inn and Spa, and the Blue Ridge Parkway). Cancellation / Transfer Policy:
If a confirmed reservation is cancelled or transferred, a processing fee of $50.00 and the $20.00 Reservation Fee plus applicable North Carolina State Sales Tax will be charged against the Advance Confirmation Deposit. If the cancellation occurs less than 30 days prior to arrival, all funds received will be forfeited, unless the property can be re-rented for the cancelled period for the full rent amount. Please allow 30 days from the date we receive your cancellation notice for any of the Advance Confirmation Deposit to be returned (applicable only if the unit was re-rented).
