Clean mountain chalet (built in 1990) with nice view in private community. Peaceful, perfectly quiet surroundings on1-acre property, only 5 minutes from town. Vaulted ceiling in cozy, wood-paneled living/dining room. Attached garage with automatic opener. Large bedrooms, bathrooms with skylights. (Master bedroom with own bathroom.) Wrap-around covered deck with table, chairs and hammock. Nearby activities and attractions: waterfalls, whitewater rafting, mountain biking, hiking, fishing, gem mining, many antique and crafts shops. Franklin offers four public golf courses, two are located within 10 minutes from our home. 35 minutes from Cherokee Indian Village and Appalachian Trail. 25 minutes from arts- and- crafts community Dillsboro, where you can take mountain excursions with old-time train. 1 hour to Asheville with world-famous Biltmore Estate and Gardens.

If you want to get away from everything but still be close to it all, this is the place ! Very nice, clean home, beautiful views & sooo peaceful !! You will see a variety of birds from the relaxing porch.Our 7 yo daughter was so excited to have her own bathroom in her bedroom(she was quick to choose that bedroom before we even got to look at it !!) She loved playing ping-pong in the basement so much, that she became a semi-pro at it in just the week that we were there !! Staying here made our first trip to Franklin all the more enjoyable & relaxing !! We have recommended this place to many friends when we returned home & we will be back again & again !!

This place was paradise! Beautiful surroundings in a comfortable home. Lots of local activities for our family. We loved it and would love to come back again in the future!
