Great rates; great location: Located in two of Brooklyn's hottest neighborhoods--Park Slope and Prospect Heights--The Sofia Inn is a comfortable place to stay in between trips to Manhattan (only three subway stops away). Restaurants, boutiques, and New York's most beautiful park are only a few blocks away. The Brooklyn Museum of Art (second largest art museum in America) is only three blocks away. Charming and Affordable

This was my 6th visit to NYC but my first stay in Brooklyn. Sophia Inn was a great choice. I was a little nervous about sharing a bathroom but it was not a problem at all. The East room was wonderful, spacious and private. We arrived a little early but Billy was very gracious and let us drop off our luggage. We took a walk around the neighborhood, had a slice of pizza at a shop around the corner and by the time we got back our room was ready. Very clean. I thought the bed was extremely comfortable. The East room faces the street and with the windows open you could hear the activity in the neighborhood - I loved it - not too noisy, just full of life. The neighborhood was great - lots of charm, lots of trees, and lots of restaurants. There was a great wine shop 1/2 block away which came in very handy. Subway was less than two blocks away and we took the Q directly to Manhattan. My only regret is that I had too many activities planned in Manhattan, I should have spent more time exploring Brooklyn! Next time.
