Photos and Description of the South Hero vacation castle rental SOUTH HERO - Historic 4 BR plus Stone Castle on the West Shore of Lake Champlain

Situated on 4 acres of very private land along the west shore, facing the Adirondack Mountains, is this incredible home affectionately called "The Castle". This home has a sense of ancient and rural old world times with its dramatic lakeshore, views, gardens and castle-like features. With unusual style, magic and charm, this summer home is truly a retreat from the fast pace of today's world. There are also two smaller cottages that are available to rent with this home. The Playhouse sits close to the water and was the original "maids house" to the main stone house. The Pine House is the smaller of the two, a rustic cottage nestled in the pine trees in back of the Playhouse. Both can be rented along with the main house.
