Exciting Watersports and Relaxing Beaches: Rent a Jet Ski, go Para-Gliding, or Learn to Sail Board - It's all available on the Outer Banks! If you're a little more 'laid back', a nice beach walk is just the ticket to wash all your stress away. With a little luck, you might find a conch shell or a Scotch Bonnet (the state shell of North Carolina).
Great Restaurants and Shopping: Enjoy the wide variety of fresh seafood, steaks and ribs at more than 100 restaurants on the Outer Banks. If you're into shopping, there is everything from beach clothing to boutiques. There are also great shopping bargains to be found at the huge Outer Banks Outlet Mall.
ATV Adventures and Wildlife Tours: If you're into wild life, the Outer Banks is a great destination. A Guided Kayak Nature Tour is a must for nature lovers. Our recommendation -- Take an ATV Tour where the wild horses still roam the northern beaches.
