The village of Sannat is located about five minutes' drive away from Gozo's capital Victoria. Despite this the village has the laid back attitude and charm found in Gozo’s villages. Sannat is famous for the Ta’ Cenc area which is only about 15 minutes’ walk from the farmhouse. This is a great place for an early morning or later afternoon walk and the views from the surrounding cliffs are amazing. The farmhouse is located in a quiet street and overlooks most of the island from the pool deck and upstairs terraces. At night you can see most of Gozo’s villages lit up and in summer you will probably catch a fireworks’ display from one of the village feasts around Gozo.
You must also visit Mgarr ix-Xini, which is a sheltered bay located very close to the accommodation. If you love fish it has a restaurant that serves Gozo’s freshest fish. For a bigger choice of restaurants you can also visit nearby Xlendi Bay. The rest of Gozo is all within fifteen to twenty minutes’ drive away. You must visit places like the medieval Citadel in Victoria, the five thousand year old Ggantija Temples, Ramla beach, famous for its red sand, the Azure Window in Dwejra and many other interesting places.
