Amazing OC Beach Home! Great Value!
My friends and I rented this property in the summer of 2002 and we were MORE than impressed with it! The property is very spacious, the bedrooms were perfect. It was one of the rare properties we looked into that had a queen bed in practically every room! It really does sleep 16 - you rent the entire top three floors with the top floor having the most privacy with it's own 3/4 bath. Parking in the back is a little bit tight - you can park 2 mid-size cars. The time of year we went (early September) there was NO problem parking right in front on the street, though. The location is perfect - just two blocks from the beach at the less congested end of the boardwalk, but convenient to all activities. The kitchen/BBQ area was top notch! We did a little shopping at the store for main dishes, but all the utensils and cookware was there for us and in perfect condition. They do allow pets - we brought our friends boxer/shepherd mix and it was no problem whatsoever. The bathrooms (and the property in general) was very clean, and well decorated. Bright, contemporary colors, hardwood floors, berber carpets...all very nice! They do not have central A/C but do have many window air conditioning units that cool the entire house without a problem! We even found ourselves turning the A/C off at times because it got too chilly! Bottom line – for the price at the time we could not believe how beautiful this place was! We would have expected to pay much more for such a convenient, updated beach house. Our only regret was not calling sooner to book the house for next year and missing out on being able to stay there again! DEFINITELY recommend!!
