Tom is a very nice, kind, and helpful host :) When we arrived, he just came back from Singapore without a rest. And let us know everything about the flat and around the flat with patience. The flat is very new, clean. The two bedrooms are large and comfortable. You can find almost everything you want in the flat (especially the travel information). The flat is not far from city centre, and located just near the river. We walked to the city centre everyday and it took around 10 or 15 minutes. Anyway, it's a pretty nice place with a very nice host Tom.
Tom was most helpful and charming he met us with a goody pack of bread, butter, milk, tea bags and chocolate biscuits!!! The flat was perfect for our needs all 4 of us were very comfortable we came for the Commonwealth Games and the flat was the perfect situation for all our activities. It is clean and well maintained. The games and venues were excellent. We found many wonderful eateries in particular we would recommend Two Fat Ladies at 88 Dumbarton Road. We would most definitely recommend this flat to any one considering a Glasgow trip. We had always used hotels in the past but having the flat gave us a different kind of experience and as we were travelling with our son and his girlfriend having the living space meant we could 'family' more than we would have done in a hotel. In short a lovely flat owned by a lovely man, in a vibrant and exciting city close to all amenities. My husband is disabled and this flat was perfect for his needs, having a lift and parking and being so close to the city was a bonus. Would heartily recommend.
What a great apartment with lovely views over the Clyde. Very close to the city centre (only 10 mins walk over the bridge) and easy access to the M8.
Everything you could need is provided for and a lovely touch was the welcome food pack to get you started. Tom the owner was very helpful and showed us around the apartment. Plenty of parking spaces and in a quiet area. A 5 minute walk takes you to Springfield Quay with a variety of restaurants.
Although there is no internet in the apartment, we overcame that by getting sim cards with unlimited data and used the mobile as an access point for the pc to connect to the internet.
Will definately use this apartment again when we're next in Scotland.
A real gem of a find, in a fantastic location. Very easy access to the city centre, right next to the Quay with access to bowling, cinema, restaurants, etc.
A really good-sized flat with everything you need for a home from home.
Tom (the owner) is always a delight to deal with - we've used the flat twice (and will use it again).
