LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. The panoramic views are enjoyed from every room in this immaculate and stylish Villa located on the exclusive, sought-after coastline of Cumbre del Sol. South-facing and in a peaceful and elevated position, Casa Windlenook was lovingly designed and built by the owners to maximise the fabulous location. Views south are of The Mediterranean (so close you can hear it!), south-west of the rugged conservation area on the hill opposite, and west towards the Sierra Bernia mountains for a dramatic skyline and just fabulous sunsets.

Located on the Costa Blanca close to the resorts of Javea, Moraira and Calpe, Cumbre del Sol is within an area considered by the World Health Organisation to have one of the most environmentally perfect climates in the world. It is a truly extraordinary hillside location with it’s own private beach, Moraig beach, just 5 minutes drive from the villa. On a clear day, magnificent views include east to Ibiza, Calpe’s famous Penon de Ifach and the stunning Montgo or 'Elephant' mountains. Cumbre del Sol has it’s own shops, restaurants, patisserie, bank and cafes within easy reach, some within walking distance of the villa. Alicante or Valencia airports are easily accessible.

Indoors - in the lounge and dining area everything exudes quality from the brand new 3D High Definition 40' flat screen TV with Sky Satellite and full Sports Package, the Blu-Ray player and iPod dock, the inclusion of wireless High Speed Internet access (WiFi), and the stunning bespoke furnishings.

The 3 bedrooms consist of 1 x Super King Size Master bedroom en-suite, 1 King and 1 Twin - and all feature quality British Divan beds with luxury Mattress Toppers. Finished off with Egyptian Cotton linens, we trust you will have a heavenly night's sleep! Both the en-suite and second shower room feature walk-in power showers, and are stylishly decorated in bright tiling. All bedrooms have French doors opening onto one of the terraces, and rooms throughout the Villa have curtains and voiles to ensure an extra homeliness, quite rare in rented property.

Outdoors - enjoy the luxury of your own private pool, as an option have the pool heated so you can swim in water heated to a toasty warm 28 degrees all year round! An electric sun awning on the lower pool terrace provides additional shade - allowing you to lounge for longer by the pool! Plenty of sun beds and chairs are provided on both the south-facing terraces - so make the most of the sun and those sea and mountain views from your chosen spot! Dine Al Fresco on the upper terrace, where you have the choice of worshipping the sun or taking some shade under the Naya. Stylish Hartman furnishings are provided, a top of the range Weber 3 Burner Gas barbeque, and even an outdoor heater to take any chill off the winter evening air. Polycarbonate tableware is also provided for safety around the pool. Wherever you choose to chill out at this villa, those stunning views are with you!

DETAIL, DETAIL, DETAIL. Personally designed by the owners to a very high specification, much thought and care was spent on designing the Villa layout and features. We also sought out a highly professional manager, who will take every care to present the Villa in pristine condition ready for your arrival, and ensure that any requirements you have during your stay are fulfilled.

We came back to this villa for a second stay after being impressed on our first stay in September last year. Mike & Eleanor & their local property management team really know how to present a property in immaculate order with all the home comforts that a lot of people forget.



Nice bright rooms, all with ice cool A/C when needed and a heated pool. Top of the range 3D TV & Full Sky package & wireless internet ensure there's never a dull moment for any family.



The villa is about a 15 minute drive from Moraira where there is an excellent range of restaurants & bars to suit all tastes.



Visiting other nearby towns such as Javea & Calpe to stroll the promenades and people watch. Excellent seafood platters & Paellas are superb. Benidorm (about 20 miles away) also made an "interesting" afternoon if you can stand the pace!

Casa Windlenook is the culmination of over 2 years of personal design and detailed planning by the owners - Mike and Eleanor. We became disenchanted with the standards offered by so-called 'luxury' villas on previous villa holidays, on one occasion even sleeping on the sofa for 2 weeks as it was more comfortable than the beds on offer in a four bedroom villa! When we go on holiday, as with most people, our time is precious and a villa which does not live up to expectations can be a real disappointment.

The Owner purchased this villa in 2005

So, we decided to design and build our own villa, and do it right! Our professional lives in Hotel Management Consulting and Sales Leadership have given us experiences which have helped us create what we believe is one of the highest quality villa experiences you could wish for, with immaculate presentation, that all important attention to detail and ......location, location, location - it really is hard to beat!

A truly breath-taking location, you will LOVE this villa and the top of the range furnishings and amenities throughout. This is our 7th year of successful rental during which time we have been fortunate to welcome discerning guests from around the world and have been grateful for their truly fantastic feedback. The villa is just beautiful and the view is out of this world. We had a very pleasant two weeks there. The closest town to the villa is Moraira which has plenty of great restaurants, a large beach, and plenty of areas to sit or go for a walk. The whole area is very clean and the people are friendly. I highly recommend the villa as well as the whole region where it is situated. What a great place to spend a vacation.

We had a wonderful stay at this clean and comfortable home. Evenings enjoying a nice wine watching the moon come over the sea and days relaxing around the pool in the sun.
The properties manager was extremely helpful and accommodating to our requests and always respected our privacy. I would highly recommend staying at this home as it was a place to come back from excursions throughout Spain to relax and feel right at home at.

Wow, just wow!

How do you do justice in a review to a place that provides everything you could possibly want? Where do you start -- the view, the accommodation, the location, the personal touches, what would most people want to know? Let me try by saying if you want a perfect location with superb view of the sea and the nearby mountains ( fabulous sunsets), then look no farther. If you want a dining terrace with a Weber grill that makes fish, steak, hamburgers, chicken and even pizza mouth watering, then this is the place. (Plenty of close grocery stores to choose from) But maybe you want to relax on the most comfortable bed, or enjoy fantastic entertain media ( 3D TV and full Sky Network package) , or browse the internet via 54Mbps wifi, or take full advantage of the Cumbria del Sol wonderful sunshine from either the upper terrace or by your own private (heated for a fee) pool on the lower terrace, if so look no further -- Casa Windlenook has all of these and more. Quit looking for a better place, there is none! The English-speaking owners and manager anticipated every need and were extremely responsive and helpful when we had questions. We could start our holiday from the minute we entered the property. The guide and references for the local area and amenities in the villa was comprehensive. Very quiet here with a slow pace and little traffic in November when we visited. We have already told our friends and family that they should have joined us! The listing and photos are not "hyped", but in fact do not do justice to this home.

Notes The pool is available HEATED all year round - due to the powered pump we guarantee a toasty warm 28 degrees! Pool heat is optional, at a supplement of £125 per week.
Bookings are taken up to 12 months in advance. If rates are not showing for the period you are looking for please feel free to contact us for a no obligation quote.
A deposit of 25% will be requested at the time of booking, the balance of 75% is due 12 weeks prior to arrival. A security deposit of £250 is required, fully refundable on confirmation from our manager post your departure of no damage, and that all rental terms have been met. Payment is accepted in GBP by bank transfer, or various currencies via secure credit card transaction with PayPal (3% fee).
