At about two kilometers away is the 18 hole course Johan Semslanden (see: www. Semslanden. En /.) And within five kilometers away are the four stars Riding Gasselte where to go for beautiful rides. In the middle of the woods you will find 't Nije Hemelriek, known to many for summer your towel on the sand to lay down and enjoy water, sun and beach. There are wonderful cycling and walking through the valley of the river Hunze. In your holiday hiking and biking maps are available. Short enough ingredients for a sporting holiday. But relax and enjoy the tranquility of the garden, is also possible. The county town of Assen and the university city of Groningen are very worthwhile and easily accessible. A visit to Emmen, with one of the finest zoos in our country and the very busy shopping center, we can heartily recommend.
