Our home is located near: stables (horseback riding), petting zoo, Olympic size new pool, 2 water slides, diving board & kiddie pool, New Lodge w/ bar/restaurant/pool table/ping pong/library/lounge/arcade, ice skating on masthope's very own pond! Ski Big Bear, snowboarding/tubing & lessons are available from our on site ski school! Playground, outdoor grills, basketball, tennis, boccie ball, arts & crafts, fitness center, massages available.. Sandy beach w/ docks to swim to, paddle/ row boats, volleyball, 'snack shack' w/deck overlooks lake. Our River park is great for tubing or enjoy a picnic lunch! Enjoy a trail ride, indoor/outdoor arena ride or a pony ride. at a nominal cost. **Read Guest Book**Our home is bright, sunny, modern & clean! Summer at Masthope: Where family memories are made - as you pull into the community, you will be greeted by tall pines & numerous wildlife. You'll drive past the remembrance pond with fountain.

When you arrive at our home, the first thing you will notice is how warm & inviting it is. It sits off the road, on a knoll, w/ a wrap around deck where you can sit & watch the deer stroll by or cook up a burger on the gas grill.

Summer offers much to do at Masthope: take out a canoe/row/ paddle boat on our private lake, enjoy a swim, lounge on the sand, play volley ball, bocce ball, sit outside & enjoy a snack at the beach grill that overlooks the lake, play beach volleyball,take a ride on community pontoon boat.

Walk to the lodge (1/4 mile), take a dip in the pool or go down the huge slides! The kids will enjoy the kiddie pool complete with a fountain! The lodge offers great food at a great price. Try the hot wings!

Go to the stables & enjoy a trail ride or an arena ride. The river park is great.

Winter at Masthope: Ahh ... winters are the best!

You can sit by the fire and enjoy the warmth (we leave plenty of wood) ...

Sit and read a book as you watch the tall, towering snow covered trees sway in the moonlight from the over sized windows in the living room and 2nd floor loft...

No Cell Phone Service "Great Vacation"

When my family first arrived my niece realized that there was no cell phone service. It was great. Susan was great to work with. It was a last minute idea to go away a few days because my wife's sister was visiting and Susan took care of everything. My children loved the deer that came around every morning and night. My wife loved the turkeys. I will be back. Thanks Susan.

Owner's Response: There IS cell phone service! BUT at our home for some reason you must be outside for it to work, or at the lodge.
But hey your on vacation! I for one am glad to have limited usage as it forces me to re connect to my family and enjoy my vacation.

Fun Time and Great House!!!

What a great house! The convenience of the ski lodge was such a nice surprise. They had snow tubing, skiing, snow boarding, a play ground. On Sunday we went sledding and then went for the pony rides. Great weekend for all.

Great Time in Masthope

We had a great time at Masthope! The house was perfect plenty of room and it was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. My 3 boys loved the Deer they were always around. We went to the Lake and used the paddle boats something the kids never did before.The scenery at the Lake was beautiful. The pool was nice and big. I can only imagine what Masthope looks like in the Fall. Would definitely stay at this house again it was exactly what we were looking for! : ) Thank you!

Katherine is right, fall foliage is my favorite time of year at Masthope. It's when the leaves come alive with color and the air is cool and crisp, allowing for some quiet time near the fire.

Lovely Get-Away!

This home is lovely - very warm and welcoming and was perfect for our family to retreat! The living area is open and spacious and gave us plenty of room to relax and enjoy each other's company. The bedrooms were very comfortable and we were grateful that each bedroom had a queen size bed! It was perfect for us and our two daughters with their husbands and infant babies.

We relaxed at the house but had ready access to the pool and lake. It could not have been more perfect!

Thanks to Susan for making it work and for being flexible with our schedule! We will return!

Presidents week skiing

We arrived on February 21st and was looking forward to 3 days of skiing. We enjoyed two days of skiing and was pleasantly surprised by waking up to 4 " of snow on Friday morning . The kids were excited. After every evening of skiing we would settle down to hot chocolates by the fire place. The ping pong table in the basement was an added bonus for the children and ourselves.The kids loved sleeping up on the loft. We ended up our trip with a little sight seeing. A trip to the stables where the kids fed the animals and a ride to the single lane bridge crossing the Delaware. We were told of an eagles nest nearby but had no sightings. The house was clean, roomy and comfortable. I am planning a trip this summer and would not hesitate to stay here again.
