Perfect hideaway / Perfect relax

We went there during semana-senta, driving from Puebla to Sayulita 12 hours, but have to say it was worth it.
The little village has it unique atmosphere which I could not compare with the big-fancy-hotel-resorts. In Sayulita, the life has stopped for a while, despite it is visible that this hideaway is somehow quickly catching-up with the tourist boom. Still, falling asleep with local-night-street music, later being woken up by the sound of roosters, then going to the local little street store and buy fresh fruits and vegetables, seeing all people relaxed living in their-own speed of life, kids running around, street-dogs just hanging out totally harmless, taco-places, restaurants, coffee places ... it has its magic.
Good, finally about the property, the magic house where we stayed. It is approx. 5 minutes form the beach and the "downtown" of the village. To access it, you need to walk about 100 meters uphill, but is a good exercise, to be honest, we loved it, makes your heart pump a bit :-) but the view on other hand is veeeeeery nice, especially whereas you have the view on the whole lagoon.
The garden was very well kept, it is visible that the gardener was coming there very often. You have 2 sun-beds available to enjoy the sun also privately, without being seen by any neighbors. A coconut tree was making a nice shade for a while, which we enjoyed as well, also a nice sound in the evening and a weak wind/breeze was playing with its leafs.
The property gas a beautiful and romantic kitchen, full of colors and small details of items, which I would buy as souvenirs probably, typical mexican things. There is nothing you miss in the kitchen. Close is a back-yard grill with tables and chairs, was very useful when we grilled the fish which we caught in the sea during our boat-trip.
Rooms, myself with my wife, we stayed in the room connected to the kitchen, was a very nice room, tall ceiling, mosquito net over the bed, comfortable bed, cute bathroom, many towels, nothing more you need. Our friend was sleeping upstairs in an open-space balcony, we were jealous at him, was very cool. It has a single-bed, and this room is more of a type of dining-room, but is possible to be used to spend the night … however this person needs to use the bathroom downstairs in one of the rooms.
We had a great time there, enjoying every minute, felt somehow like home … and this is probably the purpose of the owner when they built it … can only recommend !!!
