Had a great time 10/10-17,2009 in this homey unit at Smuggler's Cove. Everything necessary to have a good time was provided in this unit. The unit is set up to have everything at your finger tips and also your own personal privacy via the way the bedrooms and baths are at opposite side of the room. Property is clean and very well maintained by all staff and very approachable should you have any type of problems with every effort made to satisfy you in the least amount of time. The property is close to great restaurants, grocery stores, churches, library and shopping plus is nestled in one of the nicest parts of Ft. Myer's Beach. You have a great pool, a very sandy beach plus your choice of shade or open sun. Quaint thatched huts make your barbequing a family favorite and gives you the options of eating out or having a picnic on the property. I dealt directly with the owners when renting this property who were very kind and friendly and with the assistance of the property management staff made our stay one of the nicest times we have had in the FMB area. We are sure to return and would recommend this property to anyone that plans on visiting this area and wants more than just a hotel room. At the time we were there, our stay, for what we had, was cheaper than what it would have cost us to stay in a hotel and much more accomodating and private for us making it a wonderful "home away from home!' We were also very fortunate to have had "perfect weather" to complete our "girls week away!" We were fortunate while eating breakfast on the screened in lanai to see dolphins playing each morning and beautiful evening sunsets without having to travel miles to do so. We can't wait to return and travelling at this time of year afforded us the luxury of not being overloaded with tourists and traffic. Great Place, Great time, Great fun, Wonderful memories. We even tried parasailing which was only 1 mile from our unit and really was one of the highlights of our trip. Just writing this makes me want to start to count the days until we can return. Many thanks to the owners for allowing us to share their wonderful condo and and also to the SC staff for ensuring that the property was maintained and rules followed.

Fort Myers beach home away from home!

This unit is exactly what the owners describe! We had two of the most stress free and relaxing weeks that a family of 4 could have! It is now our home away from home! The location is excellant the views are spectacular from your private screened in lanai! The condo is clean, updated and has all the amenities that you need. The beach has a great set up with a stretch of grass and chickee huts to sit under to relax and stay cool and plenty of beach chairs. There is also a swimming pool which is kept very clean. The covered patio with barbeques was also great for nights that we cooked in. The location is great on the island you are close enough to everything yet far enough from the loud noises of downtown! We wiill miss our two relaxing weeks swimming in the warm gulf and pool waters! I recommend this condo for anyone or family who is looking for a great relaxing fun vacation on fort myers beach! We will definately be going back!

We were there in a rare rainy week in June. Watching the storminess from the balcony was spectacular. The condo was clean and comfortable and in a very convenient location.

Or vacation was all about relaxing; but this area has tons of things to do if you want an activity-filled time. Naturally the beach is main attraction - always clean and bautiful. And the people are friendloy and helpful.

Relaxing Girls Vacation

Wow, where do I start?? We had an awesome time!! The weather really worked out well for us too, we only had one day of rain. The condo is gorgeous and very clean. It was nice to be able to cook a lot of our own meals, we saved a lot of money that way. It also helped that the grocery store was a block away from the condo so we could just walk down there whenever we needed something. We started off every morning sitting on the lanai, just watching and listening to the water--it was amazing. The entire vacation was very relaxing, we laid out every day and then cooked our dinner and just hung out at night. We took the dolphin tour on waverunners, that was really neat-there was a family of dolphins following us. We ventured down to Times Square a couple times for shopping and just to walk around. There is a miniature golf place that has baby gators you can feed, which was fun-definitely recommend that. Thank you so much for letting us stay at your condo, we will definitely stay there again.

A very pleasant, tastefully coloured/decorated condo enjoying superb beach access and stunning sunsets. Well positioned towards the southern end of Ft Myers Beach, we found it much more peaceful and less busy than the northern end, where we had stayed on an earlier visit. Close prox to Publix for essentials and only a short drive from the Library, which also offers free internet access. We didn't think that 6 people (unless 4 adults and 2 same-sex children) could comfortably sleep in the condo as the sofa bed was not very comfortable as a sofa and probably less so as a bed. Mid-Nov proved a great time to see and greatly admire the annual sand sculptures, which are about a 20 min southerly walk along the beach. Jim and Marilyn provided very prompt and comprehensive e-mail communication to us in England and we would recommended (and have done so) the condo to several friends. Thanks folks, we hope to visit again when next in Florida.
