Spacious waterfront home - magnificent sunsets over John's Bay. Large living room with cathedral ceiling opens onto spacious deck. Designer kitchen features dining area with 180 degree waterviews. All four bedrooms have waterviews. Small beach at the doorstep. Walk or drive to Pemaquid Public Beach. Puffin cruises and boats to Monhegan and other islands leave from New Harbor dock. Pemaquid lighthouse just down the road. Kayak and canoe rentals.

Small museums at Colonial Pemaquid and at the lighthouse.

Historical: John Smith arrived at John's Bay December 24th 1614. He then sailed around what is now Rutherford Island to a cove now called Christmas Cove. A museum and a restored fort, William Henry, stands on Colonial Pemaquid. There are several old cellars and cemetery on the site.

Pemaquid Beach: White sand beach approx. 1 mile from house. Has take out and facilities. Parking is inexpensive.
