Q: What is the penalty if I need to cancel my reservation?

A:     Your rental agreement should clearly communicate penalties associated with canceling your contract.   It's acceptable to for owners to charge a fee if the cancellation is made 60-90 days out from the reservation.  

Cancellations due to weather conditions are usually not permitted unless specified in your rental agreement.  If unforeseen circumstances require you to cancel your trip, we recommend you buy travel insurance to protect your vacation investment.
