So sad to leave!

5 of 5
We were hesitant to travel with my two young kids to an area that I had never been to, and to a home I had only seen in pictures and reviews. To our delight, the Villa is exactly as pictured, and as wonderful as I had read. We used only used 1/2 of the space for our family of four, and had absolute privacy. We were there in the low season (November 8-13), and felt like we had the entire bay to ourselves. Here were a few of the highlights: -The tidepool directly in front provided hours of enjoyment for the kids and I. We would look for nocturnal creatures each night, and were amazed at the creatures we saw. I am a Science teacher, and my class loved the videos of the animals too! *You must bring good water shoes! -The bay just around the corner was a nice area for snorkeling. It is a short walk, and has calm waters and a pretty coral reef. -The pool was extremely will maintained and great for the kids (although they spent most time at the waterfront). -The home is spacious, well decorated, and spotless -The hosts are very gracious, and allow total privacy -Tulum is only a 10 minute drive (most of the 10 minutes is the dirt road between the house and the main road) -The turtle sanctuary (a couple miles to the North) is the most beautiful beach I have seen, and perfect for swimming. There were very few people when we were there. -There are so many cenotes near by it is difficult to choose! We swam at Casa Cenote, about 1/4 mile from the house (beautiful!), and at Dos Ojos (a short drive) with breathtaking underwater stalactites and stalagmites. We did not use the TV once, or our phones... even though they worked. This was an amazing family vacation, the absolute meaning of 'getting away from it all'. My son and I stood looking over the ocean for a long time before we could get in the car and go home.

Relaxation Plus in Mexico at Casa Perla del Mar

5 of 5
My vacation stay was wonderful and remarkable in many ways. The villa was luxurious and I was able to do my water aerobics in the pool warmed by the sun. The villa had amenities that I never thought would be available in Mexico. It was also a short distance for many day trips. The service provided by Italy and Elias was warm and professional. I was able to see several thunder and lightening storms from the second floor balcony facing the jungle - a real treat for someone from drought-stricken California. It was a vacation that I will never forget.

Refreshing, Relaxing, Rejuvinated!!

5 of 5
This beautifully designed Private Residence offers more than home style casual living. It is luxury at its finest, located within a natural setting, has amazing views of the ocean, right off the large outdoor patio deck, the fresh ocean breeze and cabanas are plenty, along with sandy white beaches, gentle aqua blue waters, and privacy everywhere; where you are free to roam at your own pace, to soak in all the beauty. Casa Chic, has a large casual living room, dining room, full kitchen/bar set up, outdoor grilling. Large bedrooms and bathrooms with beautiful picture windows and screens that slides open to have fresh ocean breeze flow through entire home. The 'Hemingway' style with beautiful bed linens, netting, decor makes you feel you're truly in paradise. There's a wonderful and friendly staff on site to assist with any needs you may have. The meals prepared by in home chef are outstanding, fresh, and more than you could ask for at any 5-star restaurant. WiFi is offered throughout the home, full refrigerators, freezer, microwave, coffee/espresso machines, are at your fingertips. If you forget something, there's a convenient shopping store (Chedraui) to go to for groceries, beverages, cash, pharmacy, and everyday needs. There's plenty to do to whether soaking in rays, swimming, jogging, yoga, water sports, fishing, or just walking on the white powder beaches, to nearby quaint or upscale restaurants, shopping, and boutique hotels. Be sure to check out the wonderful restaurants they recommend, they're all fabulous!! One thing to keep in mind is, be sure your currency is in pesos. The smaller unique lifestyle in town may only take cash in pesos, and few credit cards. Overall, I couldn't get enough of this beautiful home, its location and beautiful natural surroundings, the wonderful staff, and exposed to diverse people, culture, cuisine, restaurants, unique shopping, beaches, weather, everything...it is all right there to explore and come back to, over and over. You won't want to go home!!
