Great house! Great Owner! Would stay again

5 of 5
Daniel the owner is great! He stopped by a few times to check in on us and make sure we were having a good time. The house is really nice and just a short 3 minutes walk to the beach. We would spend most of our days at the beach then finish up the day in the pool, great combination. There are 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, we had 8 people there and never felt crowded at all. The guards at the property are really nice and very helpful. We had a minor issue with the AC and Daniel was very good in taking care of it for us. I would absolutely stay there again!

As they say in Mexico, Perfecto!

5 of 5
We're not into resorts or the somewhat nutty and sleazy Cancun scene, this is the real Mexico. We rented a car and like to get out everyday. This was a perfect home base. Nice house, great community. Chemuyil is a lovely little Mexican town, with some good restaurants and a little store. Very handy. The beach is fabulous, clean and quiet, easily the nicest beach we've been to in Mexico. The nearby town of Akumal is great, with a great snorkeling beach, we saw lots of turtles, rays, barracuda, pufferfish, cuttlefish, and many others. Farther down the beach road to the end is another excellent snorkel site, it was like an aquarium. 5 min. towards Tulum is Dos Ojos cenotes. Take the snorkel gear, it's mind blowing. We did a day trip to Vallalidad. Great little colonial city, not too touristy, and the Cenote Maya on the way back was incredible. We like to eat dinner out and there was always great places to go between Akumal, Chemuyil and Tulum. In the morning I liked to get up early and have coffee on the front patio and watch the birds in the jungle. We'll definitely be back.

Most fun we've had in a long time!!!

5 of 5
My wife & I stayed down in February for two weeks & had a blast. The beach is a short walk, fantastic snorkeling, the town is a short ride, restaurants, grocery store, internet, video rentals, etc. Amazing scuba diving spots are a short ride away, ocean reef & caves, Mayan ruins, too much to list it all!! Location was perfect, just far enough away from all the tourist congestion, but if you need a beach with a bar it's available. Casa's were neat & clean, we even had the maintenance guy stop by to see if every thing was O.K. More than enough room for four adults. Recommend all to check this place out. We can't wait to get back down again! Thanks so much, we'll see you again soon!
