REFRESHING, RELAXING, REJUVINATED!!

5 of 5
This beautifully designed Private Residence offers more than home style casual living. It is luxury at its finest, located within a natural setting, has amazing views of the ocean, right off the large outdoor patio deck, the fresh ocean breeze and cabanas are plenty, along with sandy white beaches, gentle aqua blue waters, and privacy everywhere; where you are free to roam at your own pace, to soak in all the beauty. Casa Chic, has a large casual living room, dining room, full kitchen/bar set up, outdoor grilling. Large bedrooms and bathrooms with beautiful picture windows and screens that slides open to have fresh ocean breeze flow through entire home. The 'Hemingway' style with beautiful bed linens, netting, decor makes you feel you're truly in paradise. There's a wonderful and friendly staff on site to assist with any needs you may have. The meals prepared by in home chef are outstanding, fresh, and more than you could ask for at any 5-star restaurant. WiFi is offered throughout the home, full refrigerators, freezer, microwave, coffee/espresso machines, are at your fingertips. If you forget something, there's a convenient shopping store (Chedraui) to go to for groceries, beverages, cash, pharmacy, and everyday needs. There's plenty to do to whether soaking in rays, swimming, jogging, yoga, water sports, fishing, or just walking on the white powder beaches, to nearby quaint or upscale restaurants, shopping, and boutique hotels. Be sure to check out the wonderful restaurants they recommend, they're all fabulous!! One thing to keep in mind is, be sure your currency is in pesos. The smaller unique lifestyle in town may only take cash in pesos, and few credit cards. Overall, I couldn't get enough of this beautiful home, its location and beautiful natural surroundings, the wonderful staff, and exposed to diverse people, culture, cuisine, restaurants, unique shopping, beaches, weather, everything...it is all right there to explore and come back to, over and over. You won't want to go home!!

BEAUTIFUL AND WELL MAINTAINED

5 of 5
This house was the ideal place for us with our three families with young children. It is a peaceful retreat on the Isla away from the crowds of North Beach, but an easy golf-cart trip away from anything you need. The staff was helpful but not intrusive, and the property was immaculately cared for before and during our stay. The house was spacious enough that we never felt crowded, and we could enjoy grilling dinner and eating in the outdoor dining area after the children were in bed. If you think you want to partake in North Beach nightlife, this may be a little too far south, but it was perfect for us since we were house-bound after 8 pm anyway. You do need to plan on some type of transportation (golf cart, taxis), since the only "walkable" attractions are the ruins at punta sur, The Joint (great restaurant/bar, but closes early) the Garraffon park, and a few other restaurants a little farther away.

TERRIFIC HOUSE

5 of 5
In January 2014 my extended family of 8, (including two, 70ish grandparents, 2 adult children with spouse and domestic partner, and two grandchildren River, age 1 (a new walker and climber), and Huck, age 3½) spent two weeks at Roger’s and Tina’s house in Puerto Morales. The house was perfect. It had a large well-equipped kitchen where we could all help cook, including grandma and Huck making bread using the steel griddle. The house was so large that we never got in each others way. Part of the beach was in the yard, so the kids could be sent out to play alone. An added bonus was that the walls were thick, and the grandparents were on the first floor, so they got lots of sleep. We arrived several weeks after a huge storm that had washed out much of the road from the main highway to the beachfront and houses and also the road from the house to Puerto Morales. It was inconvenient, but not devastating, even though it had also impacted the beach in front of the house, which had a lot of debris from the ocean. But while it made it difficult to sunbathe on the sand, it did not affect the swimming or the walking on the beach. We simply sunbathed inside the yard, which was right on the beach. Several times we all went and spent the afternoon on the lovely public beach in Puerto Morales. There were enough different things to do and places to go, to interest each of us, and enough babysitters so that we all had a chance to do something. without all having to stay together (we recommend two cars). Alex checked in daily to see if we needed anything, and Roger was only a phone call away. We never missed being at a hotel. We simply enjoyed the peace and quiet of the neighborhood.
